道の駅仁保の郷の裏の細い道を東へ少々、信行寺境内にある仁保隕石の記念碑です。明治３０年（１８９７）８月８日 午後１０時半落下 １００周年を記念して建立 国立科学博物館蔵 と書いてあります。
知らないでいくと見落とすかもです。記念碑の向こうにKDDIのパラボラアンテナが見えています。このパラボラが見えるとここが仁保だなっていう感じがします。
